    During lockdown the owners refurbished this Pub. It follows strict Covid rules and is nicely a appointed. The meal was delicious and reasonably priced. There is a new Chef there since we last visited and the the menu is so much better. The owner when I there is the perfect host, greeting patrons. A relaxing and enjoyable meal in peaceful surrounds. Well done Golden Sands in the heart of Nambucca Bowra St shopping area. Nice dress shops nearby ladies well worth a browse.

    Decent pub food with quick service and a nice setting. After being to many taverns for the last 3 months in north coast our expectation for tavern food is high and this was alright, nothing bad about it but wouldn't say it was great either.
